Are There Regions In Australia Without Any Dangerous Animals?

I would like to try living in Australia some time, but my wife is so worried about poisonous spiders and snakes all the time, and that one of them might get one of our cats.
But aren’t there areas where our kitties could go roaming and stay “unbitten”?
How’s Tasmania for that?
Or Adelaide?
Or… I haven’t a clue. [...]
