I think it is the most difficult of all the major races world-wide. The distance is 3200m. Your horse has to be a true stayer to win this. For a mare like MakybeDive to win it 3 times on the trot, is amazing. Take a look at "Might and Power's pillar to post" victory in the late 90s, you'll understand how difficult that was. I disagree.
